Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is a security feature used in BAC’s Online Account Access. SSL is an industry standard encryption technology used for on-line banking and e-commerce sites nationwide. Internet addressees that begin with “https” use SSL. You also can tell that your computer is in a “secure mode” by following the icons in the lower portion of your browser. In secure mode, your browser software may display a solid key or closed padlock. A broken key, open padlock or no security icon may indicate that the environment is non-secured. Please refer to your browser software documentation.
